Development progress
Hey everyone,
We wanted to share with you some news about current state and progress.
We've reached chapter 4 first cycle production and we will be completing renders and testing next week. Also, we have achieved one of the main goals: "in-game-actions", this means player will be able to interact with characters much more and characters will be able to take actions/responses based on player choices. This will increase the "sandbox" experience. We have thought of interesting mechanics based on free-exploration. Hope this will let players who enjoy trying stuff have more and more freedom.
Much more to come in future releases, right now, we're still working on this process. It is gonna be buggy and probably we'll make some mistakes, but we want to take the risk and push further into the sandbox experience. Also, we are committed to tell a compelling and fun story, this is a visual novel after all.
Some improvements for chapter 4:
- Multiple actions for NPCs
- Sequence of actions
- Actions available for "any" NPC
- Delay concept for NPCs actions
- Dialogues based on NPCs states
- Bugs fixed:
a) Correct camera direction after "fast-travel" action
b) Money won't drop to "negative" values
c) Deleting previous events will now "alert" NPCs
New chapter will be available on April 7th. We hope you enjoy it
