We have finally updated all C++ plugins and main code to UE5!


WE DID IT!!!

I mean, we are still working on it, but we have been able to compile the whole project with UE5!!! no more errors... lots of warnings but no errors.


Interestingly the worst thing was our own plugin, I guess being our first UE4 project we made a lot of mistakes.

Now, we are still working on some issues, we can't "open" the project in the UE5 editor for some reasons, I know I need to look into it and it will probably take me a couple of hours... or a couple of days at most, but I will be able to make it work soon.

I'm just so happy to share this news with you, at some point I thought this was all a mistake and that I wasn't going to be able to fix it... but it's fixed now! we are very close to have the first glimpse of ZIsland in UE5!

We'll let you know when we've reached that goal. I'll be working all weekend on the game. I'm feeling very optimistic about the upcoming results.
